My Nan had this terrible condition Dementia which devastated not only her life but the lives of the family. At first we all found it quite funny when she forgot the odd thing as we all do, but as time went on things got worse she didn't recognise family members and I was her long passed brother Albert. In the end her body and mind just gave up.
By 2021, 1 million people will be living with the condition. But dementia won’t win. Until the day we find a cure, Alzheimer’s Society will be there for anyone affected by dementia.
I'm taking part in jog on dementia by taking on 26.2 miles because I want to tell dementia to jog on - and you can help me! Your donations will help Alzheimer’s Society provide information and support, improve care, fund research, and create lasting change for people affected by dementia. You can help today by giving whatever you can using the 'Give Now' button. Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!
